Who We Are
About Atlas High Performance Homes
Atlas High Performance Homes was founded on the principle that builders should maximize the functionality, durability, and beauty of what they are building while minimizing the discomfort and inconvenience clients experience throughout the process.
That belief led Atlas to develop a clear multi-step process that helps homeowners set expectations, understand their options, and move into construction with confidence.
Our process
How Atlas Moves Your Project Forward
This process helps Atlas understand your goals, gather the right information, and recommend the best path before construction begins.
Lead Qualification
Establish expectations and determine whether Atlas is the right company for your needs.
Interview, Site Survey, Inspections, and Building Science Assessments
Pairing an interview with the service that you are seeking out allows us to take the time to understand your long term plans so that we may best serve them. Once we perform the information gathering visit, we can move onto the next step.
Estimates and Recommended Courses of Action
After step two, we can consider information learned and measurements taken and develop estimates and recommendations. Once we have provided you with the information you need to make a decision, the ball is in your park.
Contract, Deposit, and Project Start
Once we sign a contract and money has changed hands, we can lock you into the schedule.
Our Credentials
Training and Certifications Behind Atlas
Atlas backs its building science and remodeling guidance with verified training, inspection credentials, and lead-safe certification.
Building Science Principles Certified
Training in building science fundamentals helps Atlas spot how air movement, moisture, insulation, and ventilation affect comfort, durability, and energy use.
EPA Certified Lead Renovator
EPA lead-safe certification supports careful containment, cleanup, and work practices in older homes where occupant health and regulatory compliance matter.
American Home Inspectors Training
Inspection training supports a diagnosis-first process, so recommendations are based on what the home is actually doing instead of surface symptoms alone.

A Note From John
A Note From John
Hi, thank you for taking the time to get to know me. My name is John Dylan Barker. Both sides of my family had holistic home builders on them (meaning they worked on every aspect of a house from start to finish). These amazing men spent their lives pouring their blood, sweat, and tears into their construction projects.
After learning so much naturally from them over the years of working with them, I decided to take our family legacy to the next level by becoming an expert in building science principles. Creating healthy homes that last generations and are energy efficient elevates our wide range of trade knowledge to an even higher level.
I am so thankful that so many folks have given me the honor of working on their homes. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you directly as a customer and make your experience as painless as possible with results that have a lifetime impact.
