Air Sealing Services in New Hampshire
Most drafts, ice dams and frosty attics trace back to warm air leaking where it should not. Air sealing stops it at the source, and a blower-door test shows the result.

Where we seal
- Attic bypasses: top plates, wire and plumbing holes, chases and light fixtures
- Attic hatches and pull-down stairs
- Rim joists and sill plates in the basement
- Gaps around chimneys, flues and other penetrations, using fire-rated materials where required
Measured, not guessed
A blower-door test before and after shows how much leakage was reduced. Pairing it with a building science assessment helps find the biggest leaks first.

Common questions
Should I air seal before adding insulation?
Yes. Insulation slows heat moving through it, but air leaking through gaps carries heat and moisture right past it. Sealing the gaps first makes the insulation work.
Will air sealing help with ice dams?
Often. Many ice dams start when warm air leaks into the attic and melts snow on the roof. Sealing those leaks attacks the cause.
Can a house be too tight?
A tight house needs planned ventilation, such as bath and kitchen fans or a balanced ventilation system. We look at ventilation as part of any air sealing job.
Can I get a price before anyone visits?
Yes. The Instant Ballpark gives a range for attic air sealing and insulation. The final price comes after a site visit and a written estimate.
