Bathroom remodel with a new vanity and tile floor

What we do in bathrooms

  • New vanities, sinks, faucets and toilets
  • Tub and shower replacements, including tub-to-shower conversions
  • Tile or vinyl plank (LVP) floors
  • Exhaust fans vented to the outside, which helps prevent mold and peeling paint
  • Repairs to rotted subfloors around toilets and tubs

Done right behind the walls

Water is the enemy in a bathroom. We waterproof wet areas properly before any finish goes on, so the new bath stays as good as it looks.

What a typical tub-to-shower remodel includes

Included

  • Demo of the tub, tile, toilet and vanity
  • A waterproofed, tiled walk-in shower with a mosaic floor
  • Porcelain tile floor
  • A 30-inch vanity with top and faucet, a new toilet and a fan/light
  • Glass shower door
  • The plumbing for the remodel (fixture and toilet connections) and a licensed electrician

Not included

  • Moving the toilet, drain or walls
  • Subfloor or framing repair, if found (priced when we see it)
  • Fixtures above mid-grade

Comparing bids? Check for these

Lower bids often leave these out. Every Atlas estimate includes them.

  • A full waterproofing membrane behind the shower tile, not just backer board
  • The plumbing for the remodel (fixture and toilet connections) and a licensed electrician

Common questions

Can you turn my tub into a walk-in shower?

Yes. Tub-to-shower conversions are one of the most common bathroom updates we do. The drain usually has to move or change, and the new shower gets a waterproofing layer behind the tile.

Why does the exhaust fan matter so much?

A bathroom fan that dumps moist air into the attic or does not run long enough leads to mold, peeling paint and frost in the attic. We vent fans to the outside.

Do you handle the plumbing and electrical?

Yes. Atlas handles the plumbing that is part of the remodel, such as fixture swaps, toilet resets and the connections for the new shower and vanity. Electrical work is done by a licensed electrician, and Atlas runs it all as one team.

Can I get a price before anyone visits?

Yes. The Instant Ballpark gives a range for a bathroom remodel. The final price comes after a site visit and a written estimate.
