Drywall and ceiling repair cost in New Hampshire
What drywall and ceiling repair costs in New Hampshire after a leak or damage, with ranges from the Atlas estimator.
Every number on this page comes from the Atlas Instant Ballpark, the same estimator you can use for your own home. These are example houses to show how the price behaves. They are not quotes, and your written estimate after a site visit is the number that counts.
Example ranges
| Example scope | Atlas ballpark range |
|---|---|
| A ceiling patch of about 16 sq ft after a leak, whole ceiling repainted | $800 to $1,200 |
| A wall patch of about 6 sq ft, whole wall repainted | $800 to $1,100 |
| Damage where the leak has not been fixed yet | Priced after a site visit |
The leak has to be found and fixed before the drywall goes back. We look at that first, then price the repair.
This is a ballpark, not a quote. It is not adjusted to your site until someone from Atlas sees it; final pricing comes after a site visit and a written estimate.
What changes the price
- Size of the damage. The cut-out and replacement scale with the damaged area.
- Ceiling or wall. Ceiling work is slower than wall work.
- Repainting. The whole surface is repainted so the patch does not show.
- The cause. If the leak has not been fixed, the repair is priced after a site visit.
Finding or fixing the leak, mold remediation, insulation or framing repair and textured or popcorn ceilings are not included. Atlas does not test, sample or assess for mold; a third-party certified assessor does.

Comparing bids? Check for these
Lower bids often leave these out. Every Atlas estimate includes them.

Common questions
Why does a small patch cost as much as it does?
Every repair involves the same setup, drying time between coats and repainting, even when the patch is small.
Will the patch show?
Not if it is done right. We use stain-blocking primer and repaint the whole surface.
