The job
Replace an old, broken wooden entry door with a metal entry door.
What we did
- Cut the new door and jamb to fit the opening, because a properly sized metal entry door was not available
- Added solid wood back into the bottom of the door after cutting it, then sealed the bottom properly
- Drilled a second hole for the doorknob the client chose, since the door came with only one
Custom fits like this are common in New Hampshire's older homes.
