There the energy code calls for R-20 cavity insulation plus R-5 continuous insulation, or R-13 plus R-10, in new or rebuilt wood-frame walls, R-10 at slab edges to 4 feet deep, and the same R-49 ceiling as the south of the state. New Hampshire uses the 2018 International Energy Conservation Code with state amendments (Table R402.1.2 gives these values).
